Our story

Qaynat.. In many languages it means the universe and the universe is infinite. It was like the universe was telling us to do this and you can achieve a lot. That’s where the name came in. We create infinite possibilities for our customers to achieve the way they want to look.

The universe was giving us what we wanted, even through accidents. So we began our journey with lots of research to find what the ladies would wear. We went to India and to many events to identify the modern dress sense and the needs of the ladies. We gave the designs and material to a tailor to bring the lehengas to life. Now trust me it’s not easy finding a very good tailor who will be committed to only you.

We came to the UK and presenting it to the ladies was the most nervous and frightening experience. Not knowing if the ladies were up for something modern and royal. From the nervous mmmm’s to the WOW’s we had made our first sale.

We continued to make regular sales and we finally were getting what we wanted.

No matter how big or small but when you want something Qaynat will help you achieve it.
